"Maybe it’s just me, but it didn’t click"
I gave V.I.M. a try because I wanted to finally get into Vim, but maybe it’s just me — it really didn’t fit the way I work. I felt like I was spending more time setting things up and trying to remember commands than actually getting anything done. I totally get why some people swear by it, but for me it just slowed everything down and got frustrating quickly.

"Pretty easy to use overall"
I found it simple to use overall and only needed a few minutes to get the hang of it. Curious if others had the same experience, but for me it was straightforward.

"Just didn’t feel worth the price"
I don’t know, my gut reaction was that it seemed a bit too expensive for what it is. It might work for someone else, but for me, it just didn’t feel worth the money.

"I use V.I.M. on both Linux and..."
I use V.I.M. on both Linux and Mac, and I can't say it doesn't fit nicely with how I work. It plays well with git, terminal stuff, and the plugins I use most, and moving my configs around isn't hard at all. Some plugin setups can be kind of a pain, and the docs don't always feel not outdated, but overall it works good for my workflow. I'd give it 4 stars.

"Wish we’d thought harder before buying"
At first it seemed like it would work for us, but once our team got bigger, it just didn’t scale the way we needed. I’m regretting the purchase a bit because it’s been more frustrating than helpful for a larger group.

"Felt messy overall"
Had a hard time keeping up with what was going on. Updates came slowly, and care handoffs felt confusing most of the time

"Decent product, but support needs to be accountable"
The product itself is fine, but the support experience was really disappointing. I waited days just to get a response, and when they finally got back to me, my issue still wasn’t actually fixed. I get that delays happen, but customers deserve clearer communication and someone taking responsibility instead of just leaving things unresolved. Frustrating overall...

"EHR sync was kind of a headache"
I tried using vim for our EHR integration and, it was just not as smooth as I was hoping. Like, some of the data didn’t show up right, and then support took a while to get back to us, which was frustrating. It does work sometimes, to be fair, but I guess I expected a lot less back-and-forth and messing around to get things sorted

"The API felt a bit too limited for what I needed"
I tried using the API and it felt limited. The docs were confusing in a few places, like I’d look for a simple example, a clear parameter explanation, or even a basic request/response format, and I’d still end up guessing. The endpoints also didn’t cover as much as I expected. For example, I wanted more flexibility with filtering, sorting, pulling specific fields, checking status details, and handling different use cases without having to build workarounds. It’s usable, but it felt like every time I tried to do something slightly beyond the basics, I hit a wall.

"We tried vim.com thinking it might save us..."
We tried vim.com thinking it might save us time or give us better results, but it never really paid off. It worked fine enough and nothing was completely broken, but for the price, it felt a little light. We still ended up using other tools most of the time, which made the whole thing feel kind of pointless. Support was okay, but the value just wasn’t there for how we use it. Also, paying for it and then barely needing it was frustrating, that part was weird...

"Works sometimes, but it’s a flaky mess"
I used vim.com for a bit, it’s been hit or miss. Some pages take forever to load, and a few times the thing just flat-out refused to open when I actually needed it. It’s not completely useless, but it’s way too unreliable for me to trust. Hopefully they get their act together and fix the stability issues.

"I was hoping the payer-provider collaboration would..."
I was hoping the payer-provider collaboration would feel smoother, but it still feels messy. I mean, it’s not impossible to use, but the whole process just feels clunky and a bit harder than it should be.

"Pricing could be clearer from the start"
I used vim.com for a while and overall it was okay, but the contract details were a little harder to follow than I expected. Some things made sense right away, but a few parts I had to ask about twice, well, maybe not twice for everything, but enough that it stood out.

The pricing wasn’t really hidden, to be fair, just not super easy to compare upfront. I’d say it’s fine as long as you take your time and read through everything carefully before you sign

"So, it was kind of hard to..."
So, it was kind of hard to get my team on board with this. Like, nobody here really wanted to switch over at first, and there was just a lot of hesitation, you know? It’s not that the tool was necessarily bad, but getting people to change what they’re used to was, yeah, definitely a challenge.

I thought the provider engagement was okay overall, but the replies were kind of slow. You end up waiting longer than expected, which can be a bit frustrating

"Still not sure what support was doing"
I waited for days hoping someone would actually help, but the replies I got felt like the same copy-paste message over and over. I’m confused because I explained the issue, but nothing really changed and it’s still not fixed.

"new updates seem a bit unstable lately..."
I’ve been trying to use it like usual, but it keeps crashing on me lately. Not sure if it’s the newest release or something else, but it definitely feels a little shaky right now..

"Pretty reliable compared to other sites I’ve used"
I’ve used vim.com a handful of times now, and the info has been mostly accurate for what I needed. I did run into one small mismatch that made me double-check things, but overall most of the data lined up fine. Compared to a few other sites I’ve tried, this one felt easier to use and a bit more dependable. It’s not perfect, but I’d still use it again.

"Pretty solid overall, with a few little hiccups"
Most days it runs fast and does what I need without much fuss. There are occasional slowdowns, but reading between the lines, it feels more like minor bumps than any major problem. Overall, I’ve been happy with it.

"Vim ended up slowing our clinic down"
We brought in Vim hoping it would make referrals and charting feel less clunky, but in our clinic it did the opposite. I blame myself a bit for thinking it would just fit into our day without much friction, because the screens took too many clicks and our staff still had to jump back into the EHR all the time.

The alerts also became part of the problem. Some were helpful, but too many didn’t feel relevant, so providers started tuning them out. When you’re already moving fast between patients, one more layer of notifications just feels like something else to manage instead of a real time saver.

Support was nice whenever we reached out, but fixes took longer than we needed, and the workflow never really matched how our team actually works. Maybe we expected too much from it, but for a busy clinic, efficiency is everything, and Vim just didn’t help us get there
